Description

24K Torch is a premium gold Torch Coral selected for its intense metallic yellow-gold colouration. The colour extends across its long, flowing tentacles, creating a bright golden appearance that becomes particularly vivid under blue-spectrum reef lighting.

The 24K name refers to its rich gold appearance rather than a separate species. Like other true Torch Corals, it is Euphyllia glabrescens, a single species capable of producing an extraordinary range of naturally occurring colours and combinations.

Why We Like It

If you want a Torch that looks properly gold, this is it. A good 24K has that rich yellow-gold colour rather than simply being a green Torch with yellow tips, and once the tentacles are fully extended you get a large area of moving colour. It's a classic premium Torch for a reason.

Care Notes

Best kept with stable reef parameters, moderate lighting and varied flow that keeps the tentacles gently moving. Torch Corals are primarily photosynthetic but will also accept small meaty foods and suitable coral foods, with occasional feeding helping to support growth and new head development.
