What it is

A frozen whole cockle food supplied in a resealable grip bag, made from cleaned, natural cockles and frozen to preserve nutritional value. These are whole marine shellfish, offering a dense, natural protein source for aquarium fish.

Why we like it

This is proper “real food.” Whole cockle is ideal for larger or more predatory fish and gives a feeding response you simply don’t get from dry foods. It’s excellent for conditioning fish, supporting weight gain, and bringing out natural tearing and hunting behaviour. It also works well as part of a rotation alongside pellets to give a more complete, varied diet.

Best suited to medium and large fish such as wrasse, triggers, puffers, and angels, but can be chopped down when thawed for smaller species.
