The Auriga Butterflyfish is one of the hardiest and most adaptable butterflyfish available, making it a great choice for aquarists looking to keep a larger show fish. Its bright white body, bold black markings and distinctive trailing dorsal filament give it an elegant appearance that stands out in any aquarium. Generally peaceful and active, Aurigas spend the day constantly cruising the rockwork and open water, bringing movement and character to larger marine systems. While not considered reef safe, they are often an excellent choice for fish-only and predator-style aquariums.
