The Bella Goby is a peaceful and attractive sand-sifting goby that spends much of its time filtering the upper layer of the sand bed in search of small invertebrates. Its constant activity can help keep exposed sand looking clean and aerated.

It should be kept in an established aquarium with a mature sand bed and plenty of secure rockwork. Although it naturally finds food within the substrate, it must also be offered regular supplementary feeding. A securely covered aquarium is recommended, as gobies may jump.

Feeding: Offer frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, finely chopped meaty foods and small sinking marine pellets. Regular feeding is important, particularly where the sand bed contains limited natural food.
