The Brunneus Fairy Wrasse is an elegant and peaceful reef fish, appreciated for its rich colouration and graceful swimming behaviour. Constantly active throughout the day, it spends much of its time exploring the rockwork and open water, making it an eye-catching addition to any marine aquarium.

Like other fairy wrasses, it thrives in established reef aquariums with plenty of live rock to provide shelter and secure sleeping places. It is an excellent community fish and is generally compatible with other peaceful reef inhabitants.

A tightly fitting lid or mesh cover is essential, as fairy wrasses are accomplished jumpers and may leap from uncovered aquariums, particularly when first introduced or startled.
