Why We Like It:

The Flame Lobster is a stunning reef oddball with deep red colouring and vibrant white bands across its claws. Mostly nocturnal and reclusive, it hides in rockwork during the day but adds serious visual impact when it emerges. While coral-safe, it’s not invert-safe and is best kept solo in tanks without ornamental shrimp. A bold, armoured addition for FOWLR or large, mixed reefs where its predatory habits are manageable.
