Gamma Red Plankton 100g Blister Pack

What It Is

Gamma Red Plankton is a premium frozen food made from 100% natural marine plankton. Rapidly packed, sealed and frozen to preserve nutritional value, each blister pack contains individually portioned cubes for convenient feeding with minimal waste. Every pack is gamma irradiated to eliminate harmful parasites and bacteria while maintaining the quality of the food.

Why We Like It

Red plankton is an excellent food for smaller planktivorous marine fish that naturally feed on zooplankton in the water column. Its size and nutritional profile make it particularly well suited to anthias, chromis, cardinals, wrasses and many other active reef fish.

We also like Red Plankton in mixed reef aquariums because the smaller particles can be captured by many LPS corals and filter-feeding invertebrates. Used alongside mysis, copepods and other frozen foods, it helps provide the variety found on a natural reef.
