Why We Like It:

Japanese Yellow Tangs are renowned for their intense golden-yellow colouration and exceptional quality. Hardy, active, and constantly grazing, they make excellent algae controllers while adding a bold splash of colour to reef systems. Peaceful with most tankmates but best introduced carefully around other tangs. A true reef classic and one of the most sought-after surgeonfish in the hobby.
