Meaty Coral Stand
Give your favourite fleshy LPS corals a stable place to sit with our 3D printed Meaty Coral Stand. Designed for corals such as Acanthophyllia, Trachyphyllia, Scolymia and other suitable large-polyp stony corals, this practical support helps keep them securely positioned within your aquarium.
Many meaty corals are happiest on the sandbed, but uneven surfaces, shifting sand and curious tank inhabitants can make keeping them upright a challenge. A dedicated stand provides additional support while allowing you to position your coral where it can be properly admired.
Why We Like It
We love meaty LPS corals at The Happy Reef, especially those impressive Acanthophyllia and Trachyphyllia specimens. They're often the centrepiece of an aquarium, but their large, delicate tissue means positioning them carefully is important.
A good coral stand can help keep a specimen stable and reduce the risk of it being knocked over or resting awkwardly against surrounding rockwork.

Care & Placement
Position the stand securely in an area with lighting and water flow appropriate for your coral species. Ensure the coral's hard skeleton is supported without placing pressure on its delicate fleshy tissue.
Allow sufficient space for the coral to expand fully and avoid positioning it where neighbouring corals may cause damage.
Good to Know: Meaty LPS corals can expand considerably beyond their skeletons. Choose a suitable stand and placement that allows natural inflation without rubbing against hard surfaces.
Coral stand only. Coral and other aquarium decorations are not included. Suitability depends on the size and shape of the individual coral.
