True NY Knicks Torch is a highly sought-after named Torch Coral, famous for its contrasting gold and purple colouration. A genuine NY Knicks develops rich golden tentacles alongside darker purple tones and brightly contrasting tips, creating an unmistakable look when fully extended under blue-spectrum reef lighting.

The NY Knicks name has become widely used in the coral trade, including for Torches that only loosely resemble the original morph. Care Notes: Give a Torch plenty of room from neighbouring corals as its long tentacles carry a powerful sting. Stable alkalinity, calcium and magnesium, moderate lighting and varied flow provide excellent conditions for full extension, strong growth and the contrasting colouration for which the NY Knicks morph is prized.
