Nyos Aqua Pure

What It Is

Nyos Aqua Pure is a mixed-bed deionising resin designed to be used after a reverse osmosis unit. By removing the final traces of unwanted impurities that can pass through an RO membrane, it helps produce ultra-pure RODI water for marine aquariums.

Why We Like It

Many reefkeepers focus on the aquarium itself, but the quality of the water going into the system is just as important. Even a good RO membrane can allow small amounts of silicate, nitrate, phosphate and other contaminants to pass through.

Aqua Pure acts as the final polishing stage, helping achieve the lowest possible TDS before water enters the aquarium. This can be particularly beneficial when dealing with persistent diatoms, nuisance algae or unexplained nutrient issues where source water may be contributing to the problem.
