The Nyos TORQ is an innovative high-performance system reactor in a modular design for all types of filter media, such as active carbon, phosphate remover (GFO), zeolite and bio pellets. The innovative high performance modular system reactor is now available in the second generation, delivering enhanced flow, easier handling, and greater flexibility for modern reef filtration.

Key Features

MODULAR – The TORQ Dock (Sold Separately) with integrated pump is the base unit and features a universal connector that accepts reactor bodies of multiple capacities. Swap bodies in seconds to match your filtration needs, from fine carbon polishing to phosphate control or bio media tumbling.

EASY MEDIA CHANGE – The Dock’s universal connector and twist-off design make media swaps quick and clean. Mini bayonet closures (Twist Lock) secure the lid and bottom insert for fast, tool-free access.

CONTROLLABLE – By turning the lid you can seamlessly adjust and precisely control the flow, optimizing contact time and movement for each filter medium.

NEW MICRO GRID instead of sponge – The innovative micro grid offers:

• Significantly longer run time as the grid does not clog quickly

• Much better retention of fine media

• More usable media volume

• Two grid sizes (0.8mm and 1.5mm) for different granulations

NEW WATER INJECTION – Optimized water injection ensures a more laminar, efficient flow path through the media bed for consistent performance.

SUCTION CUPS INSTEAD OF SILICONE – The Dock now includes vibration-damping suction cups for a stable hold and more convenient, precise flow adjustment.
