What It Is
The TMC Reef Pump DC range provides adjustable return flow for marine and freshwater aquariums. Available in five models from 1,000 to 12,000 litres per hour, these pumps move water from your sump back to your aquarium and can also supply compatible equipment.
Why We Like It
Being able to adjust your return pump makes setting up a sump much easier. You can balance the flow with your overflow and filtration, with room to turn it down when needed. The separate controller keeps adjustments accessible, and the 10-minute feed timer saves manually switching the pump off at feeding time.

Aquarium sizes are our practical guide for return-pump use, rather than manufacturer ratings. Actual flow depends on return height, pipework and fittings. Choose a model with enough capacity for your installation, then adjust the output to suit. Reef aquariums will usually need separate wavemakers for flow within the display.
