Rosy Fairy Wrasse
Cirrhilabrus adornatus
The Rosy Fairy Wrasse is a striking and uncommon fairy wrasse, admired for its vivid pink and red colouration combined with its graceful, constantly active swimming behaviour. Peaceful and reef safe, it is an excellent choice for established community marine aquariums.
Throughout the day it weaves effortlessly through the rockwork and open water, becoming increasingly confident as it settles into its surroundings. Plenty of live rock should be provided for shelter and sleeping, along with open swimming space to allow this beautiful species to display its natural behaviour.
Like all fairy wrasses, the Rosy Fairy Wrasse is an exceptional jumper. A tightly fitting lid or mesh cover is essential, as even settled fish may leap from uncovered aquariums if startled.
