Why We Like It:
With its striking white body, black spots, and vivid yellow-orange face, the Splendid Garden Eel is one of the most beautiful eel-like fish in the hobby. It anchors itself in the sand, swaying in the current to catch passing plankton. Peaceful and reef-safe, it requires a deep, fine sand bed (minimum 15 cm), minimal aggression, and low competition for food. Best kept in groups in tall, open tanks with gentle flow and high plankton density. A stunning display species for advanced aquarists.
