Toadstool Leather Coral (Sarcophyton)
What it is
A soft coral with a thick, fleshy stalk and a broad, textured cap covered in fine polyps. This Sarcophyton shows a natural tan to brown colouration with a firm base and a well-defined crown, extending upward in a classic toadstool form.
Why we like it
This is a proper structural soft coral. The elevated growth adds height and movement to a display, and once settled it develops strong polyp extension that brings life to the tank. Hardy, forgiving, and visually effective without relying on bright colour.
