Description: The Tomato Clownfish is a bold and colourful clownfish species recognised by its vibrant red-orange body and single white head bar. Larger and more robust than many popular clownfish species, Tomato Clowns are hardy, active and well suited to both newer and experienced marine aquarists. Mature females become particularly impressive, developing deep red colouration and commanding personalities.
Why We Like It: Tomato Clownfish have loads of character and are often far more interactive than many reef fish. Their rich red colour stands out beautifully against reef rockwork, corals and anemones, making them a fantastic display fish. They are tough, adaptable and make an excellent choice for hobbyists looking for something a little different from the usual Ocellaris or Percula clownfish.
