Nyos True Algae (BIO) Pellet

What It Is

Nyos True Algae (BIO) Pellet is a marine fish food formulated with a high proportion of algae-based ingredients. Designed for daily feeding, it is particularly well suited to herbivorous and omnivorous species such as tangs, rabbitfish, blennies and many dwarf angelfish.

Why We Like It

Many marine fish consume significant amounts of algae in the wild, yet algae-based foods are often overlooked in favour of general-purpose pellets. Adding an algae-rich food to the diet can help provide greater nutritional variety and better reflect the natural feeding habits of many popular marine species.

We often recommend True Algae alongside a standard pellet rather than as a complete replacement. This simple approach allows herbivorous fish to benefit from additional plant-based nutrition while maintaining a varied and balanced diet.
